The insertions

In English, these could be defined as’ the stone within a stone’. The effect is one of a rock that is trapped inside another one or that has been inserted by Nature into another one. Flints fused with flints, rocks fused with rocks, precious carsic deposits of calcium carbonate that leave a halo of mystery as to their origins. In this way the specimens of the ROSE OF THE GARGANO and of the SNOW OF THE GARGANO have been made. These are carbonic shapes which are first red, and then white, in colour.
